However if you have scored 78.5 percentile in JEE Mains then I am sure you will do well in the entrance exam conducted by Amrutha and then you can get admission their. The last date is just around the corner on 18th of April. The qualifying cutoff varies each year. The expected Cutoff for JEE Main 2023 is 88+ percentile for General Category, 75+ percentile for NC-OBC and EWS category and 45+ for SC Category. So it is best if an SC candidate scores 60 percentile in JEE Mains by which he /she can get into top NIT's.

You can go through B Categoryseats provided by various college. "B category" seats generally refer to seats that are filled through a separate admission process conducted by the college or university, rather than through the regular admission process based on merit or entrance examination scores. These seats are also called management quota seats, institutional quota seats, or NRI quota seats, depending on the category of the seats and the admission process.

Therefore, if you have a choice between 87 marks in JEE Mains and 288 marks in UPSEE, it is recommended to go for admission through JEE Mains if you are confident of securing a good college based on your rank.
