Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology accepts JEE Main scores, followed by a counselling process for admission to the BTech programmes. During the BIET Janshi cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank ranged between 69144 and 190773, among which CSE was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks for BTech in CSE were 60998 and 69144, respectively for the General All India category candidates. The application fee for direct admission is Rs 700 for general category (Rs 350 for SC/ ST). Whereas for admission through the entrance test, candidates need to pay application fee of Rs 1,100 (Rs 550 for SC/ ST).

Bundelkhand University, Jhansi will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
- The JEE Main score of the candidate
- The category of the candidate
- The number of seats available in the course
