Faculties at Amity University are really supportive and motivating. They'll guide you through out your college life. A student can reach out to the faculty members for any kind of problem. They are scholars of their fields and are really approachable.

As of now, Amity does not provide any hostel facility. Students will have to depend on other PG options. However, Amity University is being shifted to a new and improved campus and then it will provide hostel facility which students can access through it's website.

The food of the mess at Amity Ranchi is of acceptable quality and flavour. The institution features a cafetaria where students may get wholesome cuisine that is prepared by qualified nutritionists. The menu of Amity Ranchi's canteen is varied and includes mutricious meals, snacks, and drinks. The hostel at Amity Ranchi provides good quality and hygienic food.

As of the first year, students must give importance to maintain a food CGPA. also, they should work on research papers, it will add to their achievements in the latter part of their college life. Utilize the college e-library for accessing to published research papers.

No, for now, there is no seat reservation in Amity University. However, there is some relief given to SC/ST as per the government policies. Basic Admission Criteria is Merit-based, Entrance-based. The Application Mode is both Online and Offline. The name of Entrances are (for B.Tech): Amity JEE/JEE Main
(for MBA): CAT/MAT/CMAT

If a student scores less then requires to pass the internals, they'll have to clear their back paper by filling up a form and paying the re-examination fee of 1500 rs. Also, back paper won't be mentioned in the final result unless there's a back paper in the final semester.

Based on the credit scored by a student in two consecutive semesters CGPA is calculated for the final semester. For example, the scores for 1st and 2nd semester will decide the CGPA for 1st year. The formula used  to determine CGPA = (grade points earned in a course during the program's last two semesters X credit)/total credits earned during those semesters.

The student will first have to submit an application stating the reason behind their absence in the exam to their respective HODs, HOD will forward the application to the examination department and the examination department will take the appropriate action.
