The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at Amity University Ranchi include the following:
- Candidates must score at least 55% marks in their 10+2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects for B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, and Electronics and Communication.
- For B.Tech in Biotechnology, candidates must have 55% aggregate marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.

Yes, the universities are both excellent. Amity charges INR 1.50 lakhs annually, while ICFAI charges INR 1.35 lakhs. Amity's placement chances range from 85 to 95 percent. Additionally, 90% of students in the ICFAI got placed. Brand name and college life is better in Amity. ICFAI placements are better.

In B. Tech, Computer Science and Engineering have a maximum of 60 seats in college. A maximum of only 60 students can take admission.

But the costs can differ; for example, Amity charges INR 1.50 lacs annually, while ICFAI charges 1.35 lacs.
Amity's placement chances range from 85 to 95 percent.

The cutoff marks for Amity University Ranchi vary depending on the course and the year. For B.Tech, candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths/Biology. For MBA, candidates must secure at least 50% marks in graduation. For admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, commerce, language, and science branches, it is mandatory for eligible applicants to take the English Aptitude Test. Admission to the B.Tech program is given on the basis of the Amity JEE score. The merit scholarships are offered to students who have scored a minimum of 70% or more marks in 10+2 examinations
