JK Lakshmipat University is subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria specified by the university. Candidates who have completed Class 12 with at least 60% aggregate in English, Maths, Physics, and Chemistry are eligible to apply for JK Lakshmipat University BTech admission. Further, they must have scored a minimum of 60% in Mathematics in Class 12. Students appearing for final examination of Class 12 may also apply. JKLU offers Early Bird Scholarships to candidates who apply in various application rounds conducted by the university. Below is the criteria:

- Exceptional performance in co-curricular activities (Sports, Cultural, Social Service etc.) for B.Tech, BBA, BCA.

The eligibility criteria for the BCA course at JK Lakshmipat University:
1. Educational Qualification:You should have completed 10+2 from a recognised board. Your 10+2 can be in the Science stream (with Mathematics) or any other stream with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

1. Candidates will be first shortlisted after consideration of their merit on the basis of score in CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/ATMA, their previous academic records and preliminary interactions with the admissions team at JKLU.

If you want to get selected in the institute of design at JK lakshmipat University then you have to score at least 50% marks in your final class 12th board's exam. If you happened to help from SC/ST you need only 45% marks. You also need to give any of the national level design entrance exam. But if in case you have not appeared for any of the national level entrance exam, then there's nothing to worry about. You can appear in the universities design entrance test. On the basis of your score you will be selected for the undergraduate course of JK lakshmipat University.
