JKLU Jaipur was established in 2011 and is approved by UGC. JKLU has received DSIR recognition and has a provisional membership of AIU. JK Lakshmipat University Jaipur is accredited with A Grade by NAAC. The university provides placement assistance to students and the university infrastructure is also good. The JKLU PhD course structure includes three phases. The first phase is Pre-Phd Coursework which lasts 6 to 12 months. During the Pre-PhD Coursework, candidates must complete a minimum number of credits based on their qualifications:
- MPhil/MTech – 12 credits
- MSc, MA, MBA – 12 credits
- BTech – 16 credits
