Admission to BTech at  JNTU Colleges is done based on entrance examinations such as JEE Mains, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET + Counselling, Andhra Pradesh ECET, TS EAMCET. Further, candidates must participate in the TS EAMCET counseling rounds for final seat allotment. To be eligible for the course, the candidate must have passed class 12th with at least 45% marks from any recognised board.

JNTUH accepts state-level entrance exams - Engineering, Agriculture & Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET). This test is conducted under the guidelines of TSCHE. It is compulsory for students to have a valid TS EAMCET score to take admission. Candidates who qualify for this exam will be eligible to appear for EAMCET counselling process.
