Both choices of CSE core at CBIT and CSM at JNTUH are respectable, but clearly CSE at CBIT wins the race. There is a powerful placement record at CBIT, where 90% are placed into top companies such as Amazon, Google, and Microsoft, at an average package of INR 8 lakhs. Though CSM at JNTUH also offers good placements, in terms of the package amount, this stands at INR 5-6 Lacs on average. Moreover, CBIT enjoys a better student-to-faculty ratio of 1:15 compared to JNTUH, which has a ratio of 1:25. As far as fee structure is concerned, JNTUH costs about INR 10,000 per annum, whereas CBIT would charge about INR 1.2 Lacs per annum.

To join JNTU through lateral entry, you must complete a 3-year Diploma in Engineering/Technology with at least 45% (General) or 40% (Reserved) marks. Admission is through the ECET exam, and a rank below 5,000 is ideal for top branches like Computer Science or Electronics. For other branches, ranks below 10,000 are usually sufficient. Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria and prepare well for ECET to secure a seat in your preferred branch at JNTU.

You follow a proper procedure, they are supposed to return your original 10th and intermediate certificates, without any fee. If there is a refund, it should be issued in seven days.

Both the institutions are highly reputed institutions of thier respective area and offer good return on fees invested. But if you are confused between both of these Institutes, the one which I would suggest is JMI. This is because of many reasons, the average placement packages at JMI for this course is 11LPA, wheras JNTU offer only 5LPA average. The tution fees is also less and reasonable at JMI with 64000 total fees, but at JNTU it's 4 lacs. Other factors such as infrastructure, faculty members and other facilities are better at JMI according to the reviews.Talking about the rankings, JMI is one of the top tanked institute in the fie
