Yes, you can get distance B.Tech course, if you are a Diploma holder. Otherwise, you can't. And, seats are limited and are only based on merit.

Hello Vaishnavi,I definitely sympathize with your unusual disorder, which is preventing you from giving your fingerprints. But, definitely this cannot be a bar for your appearing in the semester exam. I am sure you must have got admission in engineering college in the civil branch based on some documents or something. Same thing can be reproduced at the time of entering the examination hall for giving the examination. I am sure your college will definitely help you in assuaging your doubts and you will be able to appear for examination. Best wishes to you.

Hello Anil Kumar,
I am afraid as to what you desire is not feasible these days. Lateral admission for Diploma holders or even the fresh admission in 1st year of engineering is invariably given after the entrance exam prescribed by the state. You can get spot admission only perhaps in a private unaided college which has management quota seats and for this, you need to approach that particular college for the procedure and the fees to be paid before you can be granted admission.
Best wishes.

Hello friend, about 10% seats of total seats are reserved for lateral entry students but this is not kept by every university, some universities allow LEET students, but some don't allow.
So you must check this thing with the university.
All the best.

There is no any specific examination for B.Tech CSE, you have to appear for a competitive exam first and then after you get your branch depending upon your rank. However, you can go through the details given in this link.
