There are no specific criteria for Journalism and Mass Communication in Gujarat. Its depends upon the college and university entrance exam pattern. I completed my Post Graduation Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism from NIMCJ College, Ahmedabad. They have MACJET Entrance exam were the question related to current affairs and journalism.

If you want to pursue a journalism course, then the eligibility for graduation is class 12th pass with a good percentage and for a Master's degree, you must complete graduation in any field with a good percentage. Here a good percentage means above 60%.
1. NIMCJ has been awarded by the Education Dept. Government. Of Gujarat for "Excellence in Placement" award.
2. NIMCJ has been ranked in "Top Mass Communication Institutes in India" by Outlook survey in the year 2018 and 2019.
3. NIMCJ has been ranked in "Top Mass Communication Institutes in India" by India Today survey in 2019.

First, decide which college or university you want admission then check all the details about college or university related to admission and entrance exam. Start preparation for the entrance exam. Yes you're eligible for journalism course. Search for the best colleges near you and apply for the admission and start preparation for entrance exam. It is a regular course.

Hello Pavithran,
Few courses in which you can get admission even after 10th, but to be honest, pursuing journalism after 10th won't help you getting a job in industry after the course. You should complete your 12th first and then opt to go for a graduation degree in mass communication and journalism.
