PVPIT Pune admission to BCA is entirely entrance-based. Candidates are required to qualify for a state-level MAH MCA CET, which is conducted by Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. Further, candidates who passed Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised board are eligible to sit for the exam and apply for the course. JSPM - TSSM's Padmabhooshan Vasantdada Patil Institute of Technology has its own merits and demerits, considering the faculty members and infrastructure it is a good college to pursue B.Tech and the placement percentage is around 81 percentage which is considerably good compared to many top colleges in India, and according to the information the companies which participates in the placement drive are top tier companies such as capegemini, Tata Motors and Infosys etc.

To be eligible for entrance tests such as GATE or MHT CET, you would typically need to have an undergraduate degree with an aggregate of 50% this is more than enough to be eligible for M.Tech courses at any university. Nothing specific regarding eligibility requirements can be found on the college's website. Due to the ongoing entrance tests, JSPM - TSSM's PVPIT has not yet issued the B.Tech cutoffs for 2024 admissions. Cutoffs usually occur after the test is over. JEE Main or MHT CET results are accepted by PVPIT. There are January and April sessions for JEE Main 2024; the results for April are still awaiting. With tests taking place in late April, MHT CET registration closed on March 1, 2024. Anticipate deadlines following the April MHT CET and JEE Main.
