K.J. Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology Admission Process

Admissions to the M.Tech programme at KJ Somaiya Institute of Technology are based on the entrance exam score of candidates. Hence, direct admissions are not offered by this college. The eligibility criteria for the M.Tech course at K J Somaiya College of Engineering is that candidate should have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

However, direct admission might be applicable for the sponsored candidates. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of fulltime work experience in a registered firm/ company/industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought. 

Direct admission is normally not an option for those wishing to enrol in a BTech programme at KJ Somaiya College of Engineering. The KJ Somaiya College of Engineering admits students to its BTech programmes on the basis of their performance on admission tests, such as JEE Main, MHT CET, CUET, SAT India, and PERA CET. To be eligible for admission to the relevant programme, candidates must pass one of these entrance tests. One of the requirements for eligibility is to have passed the HSC or an equivalent test from India in certain disciplines, such as maths and physics. In order to apply, candidates must pay a non-refundable fee and complete an online preadmission form that may be found on the college's admission website. The competitive admissions process is based on applicants' merit scores from the qualifying examinations.

To apply for BTech at K J Somaiya School of Engineering, candidates must follow the step of registration for JEE Main. Intersted candidates can visit the official website of NTA and apply for JEE Main entrance exam. Every year, the JEE Main registration usually starts in the month of Decemeber.  Follow the below steps to fill the JEE Main application form: 

Step 1: Open the official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in) and click on the 'Registration for JEE (Main) 2023 link.

Step 2: Fill out the registration form with the required information followed by clicking on the submit button.

Step 3: Fill the detailed application form and upload scanned images and documents.

Step 4: Pay the application fees.

The application form is automatically submitted after the successful payment of application fees.
