Yes, you have bright chances of getting fs in counselling itself. The closing rank was around 1400 last year.

Chances of getting IB are very slim. The closing rank was around 900 last year.

The last to convert FS was around Rank 1400. This year, the trends can change as the application procedure has changed, and therefore, the closing ranks of last year may not be applicable this year.

Just come with a fresh mind and a willingness to learn. For finance, you can go through sites like investopedia to get an idiea of what finance is all about.

A rudimentary knowledge of finance terms may prove useful. Go through sites like investopedia for the same. Other than that, you can relax. It's important to enter the program with a fresh mind. Everything that you need will be taught tp you in the course.

We have a quota for NRIs (3 seats) within PGDM Core. Moreover, there is also a supernumerary quota of 6 seats each fot indians living in the gulf region and Indians of Foreign origins. Howeve, there is no management quota as such.

RM students are allowed to sit for all marketing profiles. As such, companies like nestle, sap, google, Accenture, hul etc. come for recruitment. The packages offered vary between 8 to 16 lakhs.

You should be able to get RM, Communications and FS through counseling. However, you may be able to crack IB through the waitlist. This will become clearer only after counseling, when you get your waitlist number. Last year, IB closed around 800.
