You can choose to get wait listed for RM and Communications. But chances through counselling are slim for any course.

Your chances are very slim, even after waitlist movement. However, I suggest you attend counseling and get yourself wautlisted for FS.

You may be able to get Communications after waitlist movement. However, this will become clear only after the counselling is done.

The placements for both is excellent. For FS, you will be eligible for any finance profile and for RM, you will be able to sit for any marketing profile. The average package this year was Rs. 9.4 lpa.

Marketing Communications is oriented towards Advertising and Telecommunications. As part of the course, you will get a hands-on experience with many marketing tools and also video editing, photo editing and other tools required in advertising. The placements are common with all other courses. You will be eligible for any marketing profile on offer.

If you want marketing, we have Communications. However, whether you will get the course or not will become clear only after the counselling process. At your rank, choice will be limited, unfortunately.

If you want to do marketing, then RM will be better for you. If you intend to take up finance, then FS is better. It ultimately depends on which specialization you intend to go for.
FS is oriented towards the fast growing services sector in india. As part of the course, you'll be able to sit for all finance profiles which come in the college. RM is oriented towards the management of retail channels, which is one of the fastest growing fields in marketing. You will be allowed to appear for all marketing profiles, and may even have an edge when huge retail brands come for placements.

We have a tie-up with HDFC Credila for availing loans to our students. Moreover, the admission letter will be adequate to secure a loan from any bank of your choice. Hope this helps.
