The selection process for B.Sc courses at Kasturba Medical College (KMC) is based on merit and eligibility criteria.

The candidates must have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects.

The minimum score required for admission is 50% marks in aggregate in PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

The candidates must also qualify the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) conducted by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). The admission is subject to the availability of seats and the reservation policy of the college.
