Karnataka NEET open entry window opens after the registrations. Candidates who register for the counselling process, they can proceed to exercise option. The KEA option entry window for each round of counselling opens seperately after the release of Seat matrix for each round of counselling. Candidates can exercise numerous options and fill as many choices as they wish to for college and courses. The candidate who becomes eligible after verification will only be considered for entry of options. Candidates are also advised to enter the options within the stipulated time. Please do not wait till the last date fixed to enter the options.

Yes, KEA extended the deadline for UGNEET registration 2025. Earlier the Karnataka UGNEET 2025 registration was supposed to close on July 10, 2025. However, it was later extended to July 17, 2025. Candidates are mandated to apply for the Karnataka UGNEET 2025 last till this deadline. Post this, no new registrations will be accepted. The Karnataka UGNEET application process is being carried out on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/.

KEA opens the online registration window for NEET UG counselling after the UGCET registrations. Candidates can apply for the Karnataka counselling through UGCET or UGNEET registration link. The KEA NEET UG registration facility is made available for those candidates who does not apply through the UGCET.

No, Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has not made it mandatory for candidates to apply for the UGCET. Candidates who fill out the UGCET application form or Karnataka NEET form are eligible to participate in KEA NEET UG counselling.

Karnataka NEET 2025 counselling will be held for the allotment of 85 per cent of the state quota seats. Admission to 9,133 MBBS and 2,619 BDS seats and 150 seats of St. John's Medical College in the state will be conducted through the Karnataka NEET counselling 2025.
The exact number of Karnataka NEET counselling seats will be released along with the release of the brochure and dates.

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) released the cutoff for Karnataka NEET counselling during the first round of counselling. Karnataka NEET 2025 counselling will be held for the allotment of 85 per cent of the state quota seats. Karnataka NEET cutoff for 15% AIQ seats will be published by the MCC.

Ideally it is recommended that a candidate should score between 518 to 450 NEET marks for seeking admission to MBBS institutes in the state of Karnataka. Government colleges generally accept students with a good cutoff score as competition is high there.

Karnataka NEET counselling dates 2025 will be released by KEA, Karnataka government in accordance with the dates set by the Medical Counselling Committee for the AIQ NEET 2025 counselling. An official notification and prospectus will be released to inform the applicants regarding the KEA NEET counselling.

Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2025 will be held online for admission to various MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Unani, Homeopathy, and Ayurveda courses across government and private medical colleges across Karnataka. KEA conducts Karnataka NEET 2025 counselling for 85% state quota and 100% of private college seats. At present there are total of 43451 seats. Under the MBBS programme, there are 33829 seats and 9622 seats in medical and dental colleges across the state.
