University of Mysore offers MBA based on Karnataka PGCET exam scores. It is done for full-time and part-time programmes. As per the eligibility criteria mentioned for both part-time and full-time, the needed percentage should stood at 50% and 45% for unreserved and reserved category candidates in their bachelor's degree, however, there is no percentage criteria mentioned to be needed by the candidates in 12th. Visit the official KEA website, that is cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea
Click on the 'Admissions' tab from the main menu.
From the drop-down menu, choose 'PGCET-2025'

No, you can't take admission to ISBR Business School's MBA programme without taking the Karnataka PGCET or another accepted entrance exam.
Accepted entrance exams are -
NMAT, MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, KMAT, ATMA, and GMAT.
Eligibility Criteria -
Graduate from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
For SC/ST candidates, minimum aggregate of 45% marks.
High score in the ISBR aptitude test.

NIE Mysore has released the cutoff data for 2024. As per the latest information available, the Karnataka PGCET cutoff percentile for M.Tech admissions at the South Campus ranged from 1994 to 3349 for the General AI category. Earlier, in 2023, the closing rank cutoff for the same category of students ranged from 1736 to 5434.

NIE Mysore accepts valid Karnataka PGCET scores for admission to its M.Tech programme. Apart from this, the institute's official website also mentions that students with a valid GATE score are also eligible to apply.
Students must also note that the institute offers few M.Tech seats under the management quota. However, the official website does not outline the management quota admission process. Thus, candidates seeking admission via management quota are advised to get in touch with the admissions committee directly.
