The admission process has been closed on December 18, 2024 into the *MBA programme at Kousali Institute of Management Studies (KIMS), Dharwad.* Normally, the application dates are within May to June for an examination to be held in July for the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET). 

For the academic session of 2024-2025, the application window was from May 26 to June 16, 2024.  

The PGCET is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) and KIMS admits 120 students every year on the basis of this test.

KCET 2025 syllabus is designed based on the first and second-year Pre-University Course (PUC) syllabi, that are followed for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, and Kannada for a few candidates. Each of the subjects has key topics including mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, and modern physics in Physics; physical, inorganic, and organic chemistry in Chemistry; algebra, calculus, and statistics in Mathematics; and botany and zoology in Biology. The exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions per subject, carrying 1 mark each. There is no negative marking in case the question is attempted wrong. Students need to prepare themselves for all the questions that are included in the syllabus and solve as many previous years' question papers as possible.
