Although it faces competition from other well-known management schools in Bangalore, such Christ University and IIM Bangalore, NITTE SOM is renowned for its high calibre instruction and curricula that are focused on the business world. Though "best" can vary depending on particular demands, it is a strong candidate among the city's business schools since it provides a fair blend of academic rigour and practical exposure.

The university typically maintains a strong placement record for its law graduates, while precise placement percentages can change from year to year. Usually, campus recruitment efforts result in placements for 70–80% of students. ith the KCET rank of 18560, if you want to get admission to CSE in Mangalore then it might be difficult for you but it is not impossible. Mangalore still has some great colleges and competition is also relatively very low in comparison with Bengaluru. CSE is a popular branch so according to me colleges might have already filled their seat but you can still try colleges like
• Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering
• St. Joseph Engineering College
• Canara Engineering College
Choose the best college everything will be in your favour. Fingers crossed for you.
