Students can apply online of for KIET University scholarships. Students have to submit the scholarship application at the time of admission through online/ offline modes. The university then verifies the documents and forwards the application to the scholarship committee. Final approval of the shortlisted students is granted jointly by the Director and Registrar.

KIET University offers various BTech programmes. The intake is different for each specialisation. Students have to complete the admission process to get a seat. The intake is as below:

KIET deemed-to-be University admissions are mainly entrance-based. The university considers entrance scores to shortlist students for all programmes except for DPharm and MCA. For the other courses, scores in CUET/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GPAT, etc., are considered.

KIET University eligibility has to be fulfilled for students to get admission. The requirements may change depending on the course and specialisation. The common eligibility is as below:
- KIET UG eligibility - Class 12 with relevant subjects from a recognised board
- KIET PG eligibility - UG degree in a relevant field from a recognised university
- KIET PhD eligibility - PG degree or four-year BTech degree from a recognised university
