You stand less chances of getting CSE but you can try and get ECE in KIIT relatively easily.

KIITEE being a free entrance exam and people who may not pursue engineering also give it a try and it's conducted all over India for free so the figure is supposed to be in lakhs. I have seen students scoring rank in lacs and after a limit, ranks do not get published.

Go ahead and take admission. If you want to get in this college, the only thing you have to do is to attend the counselling on time and nothing else. During the time of counselling, you are given choices to opt for and, there you can choose your rank.
