Placements for the 2016 batch of KIAMS had seen tremendous improvement as 100% students were placed with a highest package of Rs 14 lakhs and average Rs 5.35 lakhs. Over 80 companies participated in the final placement process this year. Participating firms spanned diverse sectors such as E-commerce, Consulting, Analytics, Manufacturing, IT, Telecom, Market Research, Beverages, Banking, Financial Services, Retail, Real Estate, Sports and others. So, I think now you can make out by comparing it with others tier 2 B School.

Every college has some advantages and disadvantages but what matters the most is the learning and placement you get from it. Therefore if you compare this college with tier 2 level B Schools than definitely you should consider this college as one of the option. I know the investment is huge and everyone wants the best out of it. So, in KIAMS you will get what you deserve i.e. your involvement in learning process will determine your placement offer. So, I suggest you to consider this college as one of the option out of all the available options you have.

As a student I think there is no comparison between tier 1 B Schools and tier 2 B Schools and specifically talking about this college, KIAMS is same as all other tier 2 B Schools and at PG level, what really matters is your level of understanding, your inter personal skills and knowledge about the world. So, college can just facilitate you, rest depends on you. KIAMS is one of the top 50 colleges and you can consider it.

They conduct centralised placement for all 180 students in Pune where the students from Harihar have to come to Pune. Pune is better in terms of other aspects, I am also planning to take admission there.
The average placement package as of now is around 6 LPA and still, the process is going on.
All the best.
