B.V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology was established in 1947, later in 2015 the same college got status of state private university. The university has got an approval of UGC and AICTE to offers certain programmes. Located in Hubballi, the college functions as a campus of the university. Additionally, the university is also functional at two other campuses of Belgaumn and Bengaluru. The college has been renamed and got status of the university but is still popular with its former name.

The application forms for every new academic session comes out mostly during the month of May after which the entrance examination of KAHER-AIET admit card is given out a month later and during that time the examination time is given by the authorities accordingly.

Yes one can join the KLE University directly through the management quota without having the entrance examination but the student must come from a Science background with physics, chemistry, biology or maths as their 10+2 subjects.

The KLE University of Higher Research and Education does not accept CUET score which is accepted in more than 250 college's in India. KLE University conducts KAHER-AIET score which is also an all India entrance examination for getting admission in the college. This entrance exam is held every year before the commencement of new academic session.

KLE University of Higher Research and Education situated in Belgaum, Karnataka was established in the year 2006 and offers a wide range of streams in the field of Science and medicine and has a very influential career for the students whereas National Institute of Ayurved situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan which has over 175 years of bequest also offers a variety of streams in medicine and Science for the students. For some courses, students are chosen based on their NEET scores; however, for other courses, they must take the university's entrance exam. The National Testing Agency will administer NEET (UG) to applicants for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes. Counselling will be conducted based on NEET merit by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi. Your NEET score will be the determining factor of getting a seat in KLE University. So far no other entrance exams are said to be conducted by the University regarding MBBS.
