Candidates need to complete graduation with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for Category - I, Sports and Persons with Disability and 35% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for Kuvempu University BPEd course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification. Besides, the selection for BPEd will be based on entrance exam conducted by the university.

Kuvempu University selects candidates for BPEd based on entrance exam conducted by the university. There shall be an entrance test for admission to BPEd conducted by the university. The details of syllabi and pattern of entrance test are given in the respective Department Profile. The admission notification for BPEd releases in October. After completion of the selection process, the university releases a merit list to announce the name of selected candidates.

Candidates need to complete master's degree or equivalent with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST) or equivalent grade under the grading system can apply for Kuvempu University PhD. Yes, Kuvempu University accepts national-level entrance exams such as UGC NET, GATE for admission to PhD course. Besides, the university conducts an entrance exam for PhD candidates who did not appear for any of the accepted exams. The entrance exam is usually conducted in August. The university releases the result for the entrance exam by the end of August.
