Students of Ladakh and J&K have quota in all the State colleges and univerities. Also if you are from Ladakh or J&K and your family income is below INR 8 Lacs and you scored more than 70% in you class 12th exam then you can also apply in PMSSS (Prime Ministers Special Scholarship Scheme). With this, you can get admission in other state collges with a scholarship.

With a NEET score of 120 marks, securing admission to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme at SKUAST Kashmir is unlikely due to the following:
- Previous Cutoff Trends: The closing NEET rank for this programme in 2024 was 42,307, which corresponds to a higher score than 120.
- State Quota Advantage: As a resident of Ladakh, you are eligible for the State Quota, which may have higher cutoff ranks and improve your chances.
- Steps to Improve Prospects:
- Participate in Ladakh State Counseling for state quota seats.
- Explore other veterinary colleges with lower cutoff ranks.
- Consider related programs like B.Sc. in Veterinary Science or Animal Husbandry.
