Yes, CLAT is considered one of the most difficult law entrance exams. Candidates must note that the CLAT Exam is conducted for admission to NLUs across the country except NLU Delhi. Hence, the level of difficulty of CLAT Exam is tough.

A good score in CLAT 2026 can positively impact your BA LLB admission at Chandigarh University by demonstrating merit and competitive capability. While not mandatory, it may strengthen your candidature and increase scholarship opportunities. It also indicates preparedness for advanced legal studies. At CU, students with strong academic backgrounds benefit from structured learning, moot court practice, and placement exposure. Thus, a good CLAT score adds value to your admission journey and future legal career prospects.

Yes, you can pursue an LLB from most law colleges in Jabalpur without appearing for CLAT. In fact, a majority of the private and one govt. institutes that are BCI-approved and long-established, such as Hitkarini Law College and Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya provide admissions based on merit. Only NLU Jabalpur accepts CLAT scores.

Admission to BA LLB and BCom LLB at Chandigarh University does not mandate appearing for CLAT 2026. While CLAT scores can strengthen your profile, the university's own entrance process through CUCET serves as the primary admission route. CUCET also provides access to scholarships based on performance. This system allows students flexibility in choosing their admission pathway while ensuring merit-based evaluation and quality legal education standards.
