Law Entrance Exam

The NMIMS Law Admission Test is conducted in an online, computer-based mode. It will have150 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will get two hours to complete the exam. 

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Law Aptitude Test (NMIMS LAT) is a law entrance exam conducted by SVKM's NMIMS Deemed-to-be-University for admissions to the 5-year integrated BA LLB and BBA LLB programs.

SVKM's NMIMS has announced the NMIMS LAT application form 2026 date on the official website. Students will be able to apply for the BA LLB and BBA LLB courses through the NMIMS LAT Phase 1 exam till March 22. For phase 2 of NMIMS LAT, the last date of application is May 26, 2026.

Candidates can fill out the NMIMS LAT Application Form 2026 until March 22, 2026 for Phase 1. The NLAT 2026 Phase 2 Application Process will begin on March 23, 2026.

The SVKM's NMIMS releases the NMIMS LAT (Law Aptitude Test) exam calendar every year. The official exam schedule, including application dates, exam dates, and results, is published on their official website (nlat.nmims.edu) and through the candidate's dashboard.

No, you cannot take the NMIMS LAT every month. Candidates are allowed a maximum of 3 attempts (one main attempt plus two retakes) across the entire admission cycle. The exam is conducted in specific phases rather than monthly. 

Candidates appearing for RULET 2026 exam day will have to carry the following items along with the admit card:

• A valid photo Identity proof as issued by the government authority
• Pen with blue or black ink, and an HB pencil to mark answers in OMR sheet
• A transparent water bottle

The exam officials will notify you about the RULET exam marking scheme through the notification. However, examiners are given 2 marks for correct answer and there will be no negative marking.
