If you don't score above the cutoff in PU UGLAW, you will have to follow one of the steps mentioned below:

1. Participate in Subsequent Counseling Rounds:

  • If seats remain vacant after the initial allotment, subsequent rounds of counseling are conducted. Cutoffs may lower in these rounds, providing a chance to secure a seat.
  • Stay updated on the official website for counseling schedules and participate in all rounds for which you are eligible.

2. Explore Colleges Outside Punjab:

  • Consider applying to law colleges in other states that accept scores from PU UGLAW or have their own entrance exams.

The PU UGLAW 2026 answer key will tentatively be released in July 2026. To access the answer key, candidates will have to visit the uglaw.puchd.ac.in. Candidates can challenge the answer key during the objection window ascertained by the exam authority. After considering the challenges, PU UGLAW 2026 final answer will be prepared and released.

Candidates who appeare for the PU UGLAW 2026 exam day are asked to be careful about certain instructions as mentioned below:

  • Download the admit card at least 2-3 days prior to the exam day,  
  • Check the test centre, name and timings beforehand. 
  • No candidate were permitted to enter the examination hall without the admit card and a valid photo ID card.
  • Candidates appearing under Person with Disability category must carry their PwD certificate to the exam centre.
