MS Ramaiah College of Law conducts its own entrance test called RCL Admission Test for admission in BCom LLB. However, if the eligible candidate has successfully registered for the BCom LLB programme and has secured 50% or above in the CLAT exam, then the college may accept the CLAT score in place of the score of RCL Admission Test.

The AIL LET Exam is comparatively easier than the CLAT. While CLAT is held for NLUs, the AIL LET Exam is only for Army Institute of Law. Hence, the competition and difficutly level is bit less.

Yes, IILM University actively promotes practical training as a core part of its legal curriculum. The law programmes are designed to go beyond classroom learning, with a strong focus on moot courts, legal aid clinics, case-law analysis, internships, drafting exercises, and courtroom exposure. Students are encouraged to participate in simulations, workshops, and interactions with practicing advocates, judges, and industry experts, which helps them understand how law works in real-world situations. This practical orientation ensures that students graduate with both strong legal knowledge and hands-on professional skills.

BA LLB fee at MS Ramaiah College of Law is moderate. The BA LLB fee at the college can be justified if we consider its placement records. The course is available at a lower fee in some prominent public institutes but reputable private institutes offering the same course charge a higher fee.
