LEET

The LEET is an entrance examination conducted for candidates seeking direct admission to the second year of engineering programs offered by various government and private engineering colleges. Candidates must have a Diploma in any branch of engineering from an AICTE-recognised university. The minimum aggregate score in the qualifying exam must be 60 percent or an equivalent CGPA. For the Reserve category (SC/ST) candidates must have scored a minimum of 50 to 55 percent for different courses in the qualifying exam. If you are a Diploma holder and working professional and want to have a degree to enhance your skills and career, then LEET is for you. The lateral entry is not applicable to every course.
Only a few courses accept lateral entry admission like B.Tech, B.Pharma, etc. So, you will be promoted to the second year.
