In the UK, Leicester University ranks among the Top 50 UK Universities. According to The Guardian Rankings 2025, the University of Leicester ranking is #34 in the UK. In 2024, this university ranked at #48, which shows that in 2025, there is an improvement in ranking.

The Complete University Guide  has ranked this university at #34 in 2026. On the other hand, as per The Complete University Guide Rankings 2025, this university ranks at #36 in the UK.  This shows that in CUG rankings, the university's rank has improved in 2026.

Depending on the programme and academic level, the University of Leicester has different application fees. Applications are submitted through UCAS, which normally levies an application fee of £27, for the majority of undergraduate courses. The university may not charge a separate application fee for postgraduate programs, although extra expenses can be incurred based on the needs of the program.

Yes, Loughbrough University Leicestershire permits international students to work while studying. Overseas students must be mindful of the fact that they can work no more than 10 hours per week and it is essential that this employment does not interfere with a their academic program. Also, international students are subject to the terms of their student visa.

Loughborough University accepts country-specific qualifications from international students. Hence, Indian students can secure an admission in the university without the submission of English proficiency exam scores, if they fulfill one of the criteria listed below:

Yes, students applying for bachelor's courses must pay the Loughborough application fee when applying through UCAS. For the academic-year 2025, all the undergraduates are required to pay GBP 28.50 (INR 3.1 K). Candidates can pay this amount through card. In case the applicant's card is not registered for online payments, they will have to contact their bank to get their card registered.

Whereas, candidates do not have to pay any application fee when applying through the university portal.

Conversion Rate: 1 GBP = INR 110.75
