Greetings,

Indian students at Leiden University, like students from other countries, often seek part-time jobs in sectors that offer flexibility, opportunities for skill development, and a supportive environment for international students which includes hospitality, tourism, retail, administration, technology and IT etc.

Best regards.

Generally it is not mandatory to have work experience to get into Leiden's MS programme but having work experience does increases your chances to get into it. It is always suggested to check details of each programme and it's creteria.

Since work application is strong factor for your application, you can do following things to fill this gap till some extent as administrators look upon many other factors.

  1. Have a strong academic hold in your undergrad course.
  2. Get a recomendation letter.
  3. Score good in standard exams like GRE, GMAT IELTS.
  4. Highlight your skills.
  5. Do good research activities.
