National Law University Kochi follows the seat reservation policy as sanctioned by the government of India. The university offers a total of 40 seats for its LLM students. The registration  began on May 17, 2025 at 4 PM, and cosed on May 21, 2025. Admissions to the five year LLM Degree Programme (Choice Based Credit & Semester) are made through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). CLAT 2025 registration began on July 15, 2024. The application process for CLAT Exam 2025 was in online mode only. Candidates could fill the application for CLAT 2025 on or before October 22, 2024. To register for CLAT 2025, candidates needed a valid email ID and phone number.

Maharaja Ganga Singh University Bikaner offers admission to LLM along with other Law programmes. The duration for this course is two years. The eligibility criteria for MGSU LLM admission is LLB, PGDLL/PGDCI/PGDLFS with 55% marks for students belonging to the General category and 50% for studnets belonging to the reserved categories, i.e., SC/ST/OBC. Admission to LLM in MGSU Bikaner is completely based on merit scores obtained by the students in graduation or equivalent.
