To apply for Thapar's Executive MBA programme candidate should have a Bachelors's degree from any government recognized university in India or an equivalent degree from overseas. Minimum of six years of work experience is necessary for the candidate to be eligible to apply for the Executive MBA programme.

LM Thapar School of Management provides a number of scholarships on MBA programme to applicants who have achieved excellence in their prior academic studies. Scholarships such as 50% tuition fee waiver, 30% tuition fee waiver and 20% tuition fee waiver all depends on scores achieved by students in different competitive entrance examination.
