To get into the LBS MIM course, the applicants are required to pay attention to the following:
- Take the GMAT / GRE as soon as possible. The university does not have a minimum score but it recommends students to apply with a GMAT score of 600 or above
- Application essay is really important. This is a chance to show admissions committee what a student's personality is and why one is interested in this course. Make sure to explain career goals clearly and show how LBS fits into the career goals and aspirations.
- The recommendations are also important. So, make sure to get the recommendations from a good previous employer and professor

LBS is mostly renowned for its finance perspective, which makes sense given the London city's centrality to the global finance world. On the other hand, INSEAD has a strong consulting class focus. At LBS, MBA course is 1.5 - 2 years long and at INSEAD, it is 1-year long/
Another difference is the number of campuses of both these institutions. INSEAD has two main campuses Fontainebleau, outside of Paris, and Singapore and there are hubs in Abu Dhabi and San Francisco. On the other hand, LBS is centered in London, with a satellite campus in Dubai.
