Yes, at Loughborough University, all undergraduate degree programmes offer the International Scholarship, except a few Foundation programmes. These prestigious scholarships are currently to the value of 25% of tuition fees for the first year of study.
International applicants are automatically considered for a Loughborough University International Scholarship on the basis of their initial application made through UCAS. Successful applicants will be advised if they are being awarded a scholarship soon after they receive their offer communication from the University’s Admissions Office.

Yes, the university supports deferment of admission for one year for undergraduate students. However, the reason for deferment should be genuine.

The CAS letter is issued once all conditions of the offer have been met and your place is confirmed at the university. Your CAS can only be produced three months prior to the start of your course. The majority of CAS' are sent out in August in plenty of time for your visa to be granted. As soon as you receive the letter, you can file for a UK student visa.

Yes, like most UK universities, Loughborough University also offers conditional admission letters to students. Students who meet the academic/or English eligibility or those students whose results are awaited are mostly considered for conditional admissions.

At Loughborough University the standard IELTS English language requirement is 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each individual element (reading, writing, listening and speaking). Some Schools/Departments may require higher levels of English language than those specified.
For those students who do not meet the IELTS requirement, Loughborough University offers a number of pre-sessional English language programmes as an alternative way to satisfy the requirements.
