Loughborough University has a high acceptance rate of 58%, which makes it a popular choice among students. Even with a high acceptance rate, the university is a bit selective in its admission process. An applicant’s academic ability and potential to succeed in the chosen course is the foremost factor considered for admission.

Many large recruiters seek applications in the summer vacation after your first year, for placements starting after your second year, so it’s important to plan ahead. Ideally, you should prepare your CV and get it checked by the end of your first year.

The CAS letter is issued once all conditions of the offer have been met and your place is confirmed at the university. Your CAS can only be produced three months prior to the start of your course. The majority of CAS' are sent out in August in plenty of time for your visa to be granted. As soon as you receive the letter, you can file for a UK student visa.
