The eligibility is 55% + LPUNEST/CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT/CMAT+ Interview or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). The fee structure depends on many factors like the programme you want to join, the caliber of the student, the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and in the entrance tests if applicable. So, applicable fees for the programme depend on the Scholarships if any is applicable. Scholarship will generally be awarded on the basis of previous performance in academics, cultural, sports or other activities or under specific scholarship schemes category for a particular section of students. LPU offers 200+ programmes in 45+ disciplines. I can give you fee idea by taking an example like for 2020 admission session B.Tech CSE course fee Rs 98000 per semester. This fee reduces with a scholarship if you avail as per LPU scholarship scheme. Duration of B.Tech course is 4 years, 8 semesters, so you can accordingly calculate the programme fee for 4 years. Programme fee and residential charges are separate. Now coming on hostel charges-Hostel charges depends on which hostel seater you are choosing 1,2,3,4 or any other.
1 seater, means 1 student in a single room,2 seater means single room 2 students are sharing and so it goes for other seater as per seater number. Every seater charges are different. You need to pay for full academic session (10 months, 2 holidays months excluded) for a hostel. My first cousin did MBA from LPU. Initially, she had confusion about whether she should join LPU or not because she had qualified CAT that too with a good percentile. She could easily get seats in any good elite B-school, but she chooses LPU after talking to her senior who had completed MBA from LPU and placed in a top-ranking MNC and that too on a lucrative package. She was worried about reviews but then Her senior told her that If you ask someone who was not eligible for in-campus placements will say that placements or college is not good and the person will find faults in everything. He suggested her not to invest so much (15-20 lacs) On MBA when majority of people are getting 5-7 Lacs as compensatory package. He suggested that LPU is worth Joining as it pays better returning in terms of education and jobs. Lovely Professional University offers huge scholarship to the meritorious students.
