Based on the admission information given on the official website of Amrita University, direct entry is not possible for the MCom course in the university. Candidates must have passed the last qualifying examination with a valid score. Candidates will be shortlisted by the university according to their academic scores. Seats are reserved for qualified candidates who meet all the criteria.

The cutoff for M.Com at Pragrati M.Com postgraduate college can vary every year depending upon the number of applicants and the difficulty level of entrance exam. However, the cutoff for general category is 50 to 60 percent in the undergraduate degree for being qualified to this course.

The cutoff mark for the Master of Commerce at Calicut University is determined based on the applications submitted and the number of vacancies. All students must have a degree in B.Com or an equivalent one satisfying 45% marks, in order to be eligible. Cut-off marks for M.Com. change from year to year. Closure marks in 2022 for general category students stood around 35. Both VMOU and Netaji Subhas Open University are good options to pursue MCom. However, in terms of affordability,  NSOU is more affordable since the tuition fee to pursue MCom at VMOU is INR 11,100, and the tuition fee to pursue MCom at Netaji Subhas Open University is INR 7,600.
