Its a branch of military medicine with good scope in civil also as diving physician in oil rigs in india and abroad and consultant in hyperbaric medicine chambers in various hospitals. INHS Asvini is the only center in south east Asian where an government approved MD degree is being awarded to candidates. Since there are only two seats in India, all seats are taken by the service candidates.

The NEET PG cutoff scores 2023 has also been released along with result at NBE. Edu. In. As per the latest NEET PG cutoff, the qualifying percentile is 291 for General, 257 for SC/ST/OBC, and 274 for General-PH.
