No, there is no such option for direct admission in the MDes programme as per the official website of the college. Students seeking admission need to meet the defined eligibility criteria and achieve acceptable score in the entrance exam. The students must have an aggregate of 50% in both Class 12 and UG degree from any stream.

Students looking forward to take admission in the MDes programme at the School of Design UPES, has to necessarily meet the described eligibility criteria. The students need to score an aggregate of at least 50% in their undergraduate course from any stream as well in their Class 12. The admission is based on the scores achived in the accepted entrance exam.

NID Ahmedabad and NID Bengaluru offer a full-time MDes in various specialiations. Candidates willing to ascertain which among the two is more afforadable for an MDes must compare the course fees at these institutes.

The MDes fee at NID Bengaluru is INR 11.43 lakh for 2.5 years. On the other hand, an MDes at NID Ahmedabad costs INR 12.2 lakh.
