After completing a M.Des abroad - graduate students can expect to earn a higher starting salary than what they could earn after graduating from India. This is because of two reasons - a degree from abroad makes you recognised by various companies abroad, especially in the country from where you graduated and Indian employers also reognise the value of a foreign degree. Thus, the average starting salary after a M.Des abroad ranges from $50,000–$70,000 per year, approximately ₹40–58 L in countries like the US or the ones in Europe.
