Yes, there is a reservation of seats in MITID. Up to 50% of seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC categories. However, this is as per State Government norms and subject to vary. Additionally, there is 10% reservation for EWS category. Children of Service Personnel who are domiciled in Maharashtra are given 5% reservation.

The selection process is divided in two phases. Phase I is submission of Portfolio and SOP. Application form starts from October. Applicants should submit form before February last week. Fee is INR 3,000. Based on these, students are selected for Phase II. For next phase, all selected applicants have to report to MIT Institute of Design campus in Pune. Next phase includes a Studio Test and Personal Interview. The university selects students based on performance of both phases.

Application fee is INR 3,000. The applications start from October. Deadline for applying is last week of February. Candidates have to appear for Phase I & II. Phase I is done online by submitting application form. Phase II is conducted offline. Final list of selected students is released by University. It is based on performance in both phases.

The total fee is INR 13 lakh. It includes components like hostel fee, mess & laundry charges, etc. Hostel facility is optional for students. Students who don't opt for hostels, do not have to pay fee for it. There is a refundable security deposit of INR 15,000. It is paid in first year only.

The institute organises placement drives every year for MDes students. Students can apply in multiple companies. Moreover, they can work in different domains as per their choice and interest. Some of the career options are Art Director, Copywriter, Social Media Executive, etc. The field also depends on the specialisation pursued by student. Some top recruiters include Deloitte, Microsoft, etc.

No, the course is offered for two-years only. It is offered is full-time mode. The course is further divided in four semesters. Moreover, admission process is divided in two phases. Phase I includes submission of Portfolio and SOP. Both of these intend to assess applicant's creativity and motive behind joining the course. Phase II is a Studio Test and Interview. It is conducted on campus around May. The final selection is based on marks in both phases.

Internships are a part of MDes curriculum at MITID. It is a part of fourth semester syllabus. Moreover, it is compulsory for all students to complete their graduation project. Students can apply for internship on-campus and off-campus. The university helps students get internship as they have tie-ups with multiple companies.

MDes is offered by MIT Institute of Design. The duration of course is two-years. Admissions are based on two-phased selection process. Students who clear Phase I are eligible to appear for Phase II. Phase I can be done online at home. It includes filling of application form and submitting Portfolio and SOP. In Phase II, applicants are required to appear for a Studio Test held at university campus in Pune. Applicants who clear Studio Test are eligible to give Interviews. The final selection and merit list is based on combined scores of both Phases.

The MIT Institute of Design offers MDes in full-time mode. Total course duration is two-years. It is divided in four semesters. Eligibility is Graduation with minimum 50% aggregate. Minimum marks for reserved categories is 40%. Admissions are based on Phase I & II performance. Phase I application has to be submitted along with Portfolio and SOP before last date. Phase II includes a Studio Test and Interview conducted offline.

For admission, candidates first have to fill an application form. Portfolio and SOP submission is compulsory for admission. Based on these two, the university releases list of selected students for next phase. In phase II, there are two tests. A Studio Test followed by Interview. Candidates who clear both phases are selected.
