International students whose first language is not English are required to demonstrate their proficiency in the English language. The minimum IELTS score required for the MS programme in International Business Management for international students is overall 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in all other skills. In terms of rankings, both universities are at par. As per world rankings, ETH Zurich and EFPL both achieve excellent rankings. ETH Zurich is ranked #7 in both the QS World University Rankings and the QS WUR Ranking by Subject. The QS WUR Rankings by Subject place EPFL at #10, whereas the overall world rankings place EPFL at #36. Despite this, degrees in computer Science and information technology are highly recognised at both universities.
