The course is of 2 years duration and is offered in both the regular and distance learning modes. The student must have a Bachelor's degree like BSc in Agriculture or its variant(Horticulture, Forestry, etc.) from a recognized college/university with a minimum of 50-55% marks secured. Relaxation of marks is provided to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD candidates.

TNAU various specializations at PG level ( 32 ) so you can check if you are eligible for other courses like MBA agribusiness or similar.

UPRTOU does not offer MSc in Agriculture. However, you can apply for other MSc specialisations offered at UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University. UPRTOU MSc course is offered in three specialisations, namely, Compter Science, Biochemistry, and Statistics. Candidate need to fulfil the eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the course. The criteria is that the candidate mst have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

No, Msc agriculture is not available in JNU. Other MSc courses like:1. Life Sciences - 38 seats
2 . Msc Environmental Sciences - 39 seats
3 . Msc Physics - 41 seats
4 . Msc Chemistry - 25 seats
5 . Msc Mathematics - 15 seats
6 . Msc Computational and Integrative Sciences - 30 seats
7 . Msc Molecular Medicine - 10 seats
8 . Msc Biotechnology - 30 seats
are available. Except these M.Phil Life Science, M.Phil Studies in Science Policy, M.Phil Visual Studies are also available.

Yes, it's different. For M.Sc. Agriculture you have to prepare whole agriculture related subject like pathology, agronomy, horticulture, soil and Science, genetics, micro Biology and Chemistry etc. But are going for M.Sc. Agronomy then you must have to prepare agronomy subject and also other agriculture subject. A part of choosing field is depend on your interest and your cut off.

Yes, you may apply for M.Sc. Agriculture after pursuing with these three core subjects I. e. Botany, Zoology Chemistry. These are the basic three subjects which every biological stream requires at least for qualification. Pursuing M.Sc. Agriculture from the Reputed Universities of India, may lead you to huge success because they will provide maximum expose to the fields and experiments related to it. There is quite good scope of agriculture in our Nation, as Agriculture is the most important sector of Indian Economy.
