DTU has concluded its placement drive for the batch passing out in 2022. As per the official statistics, 2,459 offers were made from over 400 companies that participated in DTU placements 2022. The highest international and domestic packages stood at INR 1.8 crore per annum and INR 64.23 LPA, respectively. Further, the average and median package offered was INR 15.16 LPA and INR 11 LPA. Prominent recruiters participated during Delhi Technological placements 2022 include Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Adobe, etc.
The internship data 2021-22 is also out on the official website. The highest and average stipend offered during DTU internship placements 2022 stood at INR 2 lakh per month and INR 45,400 per month, respectively.

According to research, VIT has good placements for M.Sc. Biotechnology, but most of the jobs offered are in the IT sector. It is important to note that VIT is primarily known for its engineering programs, so it may be beneficial to research other universities that specialize in biotechnology if that is the desired field of work.

Both courses are good but Agriculture is less Competitive field and comparatively opportunities are more considering that we are primarily an agricultural country. The demand for trained professionals in the field of agriculture is high. The course fee is negligible. It is four years undergraduate Bachelor degree programme which generally includes agriculture Science, use of modern scientific equipment and techniques in agriculture, land surveying, soil Science, water resource management, animal and poultry management, basics of biotechnology etc. The aim of the programme is to train students improve agriculture productivity, manage products and contribute to future development of the sector through research activities. There are plenty of government as well as private sector jobs available for B.Sc. Agriculture graduates. They can be appointed as Research Officer, Quality Assurance Officer, Agriculture Officer, Agriculture Loan Officer (in Banks), Production Manager, Operations Manager and Farm Manager with State agriculture departments. In the private sector agriculture Science graduates may find jobs as managers at plantations, as officers at fertilizer manufacturing firms, agriculture machinery industries, agricultural products marketing firms, food processing units etc. The average starting salary of these officers is generally between 5 to 6 Lacs per annum (Including Incentive).
