To get admission in M.Sc. Biotechnology, you need to have a Bachelor's degree in biotechnology or other relevant subject. There are various universities that are offering online course in biotechnology. You need to look for the university that you are interested in or search the universities that are good for biotechnology and that offer online course in it. Then you have to apply online and your classes will be hold online as well.

Padmashree Institute of Management and Sciences admission to UG and PG courses is merit and entrance-based. For courses like BBA, BCom, MSc and MVoc, the institute conducts its own aptitude test. For PIMS admission to MBA programme, candidates must hold a valid MAT/ XAT/ CAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ KMAT/ Karnataka PGCET score. Candidates can download it from the official website and submit it via offline mode. Msc Eligibility criteria of the college is as - Passed BSc degree in relevant subject from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum of 50% aggregate and 40% aggregate in relevant subject at UG/ HSC level.

Admissions for PG courses are done on merit basis. Admission procedure -
1. Fill application form (online only).
2. Online fees payment
3. For PG courses application fees - Rs. 900
4. Upload Applicant's passport size photo and signature on the application. Provisional addmisaion will be made for PG Programmes based on their 4/5 sem results for students pursuing the 6th sem. Fees - 1 sem - Rs. 56,000
2 sem - 36000
College has an active placement cell. Companies visit campus and hire students.

It depends on personal choice of candidate who wants to do M.Sc. Being biochemist, I feel M.Sc. In biochemistry is better, however, future scope in M.Sc. In Chemistry is not less. Biochemistry deals with study of chemical basis of life in living organism including plants and animals.
