Scope and business in horticulture is increasing day by day. Floriculture is a part of horticulture, which is the process of cultivation of flowering which are used as a raw material in making perfumes and cosmetics in the pharmaceutical industry. Growing vegetables is the most important part of horticulture, which is very much demanding in India.
Students who have an interest in plant cultivation, research in the field of plant genetics and outdoor work may pursue this course. It is a course that will help one land jobs in government as well as private sector. For previous placement record, mention the college.

Yes, there is a system open for both vertical and horizontal reservations open in M.Sc. Horticulture for Junior Research Fellowship. The seats are open to be filled with the applications and goes as per counseling guidelines. No additional documents are to be provided except caste certificate.
