In LPU, the eligibility of M.Sc Microbiology is pass with 60% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (applied Medical Science or Medical Science and Allied Medical or Agriculture or Biosciences or Food Science or Medical Lab. Technology or Life Sciences or Veterinary Microbiology and Parasitology or Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology or Clinical Chemistry or Public Health and Allied Sciences or Plant Science) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.

After B.Sc in microbiology, you can work as:
*Biomedical scientist, Biotechnologist, Healthcare scientist, immunology. M.Sc. Degree can be selected in subjects of Clinical Microbiology, Industrial Microbiology, or Medical Microbiology. PG Diploma in Microbiology can be pursued. MCA is a good option for candidates interested in software field. You can try for MBA or MFA if you are interested to have a job in management.
