Hello Avik, M.tech Aerospace is available in almost all IITs so the top ons are all IITs. Apart from these some other good institutes/universities are Anna University, UPES University, IIST Kerala, Institute of Aeronautical Engineering Hyderabad & Jain University,

So if you are already doing btech from iitb it is a good option as you get master degree in 1 year and then pursue higher education. On the other hand if you are getting admission to mtech it totally depends on college there are colleges which are better than iit also there are which are not .Also the fees of foreign colleges is way too high than iits so one need a scholarship too. But at the end it comes to level of college.

The eligibility criteria for pursuing a master's degree are holding a bachelor's degree in B.E/B.Tech in Aerospace or any other equivalent branches of engineering.
Admissions are done on the basis of GATE score or often an entrance. However, it varies from institute to institute as different institutes have different admission eligibility and criteria.
