DYPSOET Pune offers a two-year Master of Engineering (ME) which is considered similar to an MTech. As per the available information, taking direct admission to ME at DY Patil School of Engineering and Technology may not be possible. It is because the admission to the programme is entrance-based. Seats are allocated to applicants through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Maharashtra CET cell. The MHT CET M.Tech CAP is based on the applicants' GATE scores. Further, aspirants must satisfy the preset eligibility criteria.

This depends on your interests and future plans in life. If you are inclined towards the ECE field and have the fire in the belly to go the extra mile and do something innovative in this field, you must go for an MTech degree as it opens doors for research and exploration.
But if you have no such zeal, you can directly look for a job after completing BTech ECE. Top recruiters across industries offer healthy salaries to skilled and talented graduates. You just need to focus on enhancing your skill set, which will land you a decent job after graduation.
