Dear aspirant, Both are different but, according to me, scope of the courses will help a person to decide whether to go for MBA or M.Tech. M.Tech- If from an IIT, you might bag a job of more than 7 LPA but if not from an IIT, then the scope of M.Tech is teaching. Now it is one's own choice whether he or she wants to teach or not. MBA is most of the times after an MBA one bags a job in a MNC but unfortunately if not that then there is no other choice plus job satisfaction is poor according to me and if one becomes a professor after doing M.Tech in a government.

Yes, VIT is a good option for M.Tech, since the syllabus is updated regularly as per industry need & lot of industry link ups are there and if you are not getting old IITs, top NITs, BITS Pilani or IIIT Hyderabad (for CSE), VIT is a decent place to do M.Tech. The M.Tech programme at Sri Venkateswara University is offered in six specializations. The duration of SVU M.Tech is two years consisting of four semesters. And the cutoffs vary for the six different specializations. And also based on rank, caste, and merit it depends. Because of all the concealing conducted by the government. So it may vary from person to person.
